Healthy Habits Challenge Rules:

~1 month
~7 points possible a day
~Keep track of points each day and update them weekly...

Points Possible Each Day
1pt 5 daily servings of veggies or fruit
1pt for staying on your food plan
1pt keep daily food journal
1pt drink 64oz of water
1pt 30 minutes exercise
1pt at least 6 hours of sleep
1pt keeping your individual goal (can be anything you want to make a habit of)

~One free day a week (you cant log more that 42 points a week)

10 bucks gets you into the contest... It all goes into the Jackpot. (please note that there is an additional .69 cent fee that covers the paypal fee)

Thanksgiving Challenge...


Is it evil to start a challenge the week of Halloween?  Maybe, but do you know what is more evil?  The Reeses Peanut butter cups that whisper to me from the pantry at night.  Time to take back my control!  Who is with me?  If you are go to the bottom of this page and send in your entry fee via the paypal link. The date of the contest is October 28th through November 21st.  We will knock off a few days at the end and end the day before Thanksgiving.

Labor Day Challenge 2013

Hello Healthies!  Thanks for checking back in.  The next contest starts August 5th and ends September 1st... Thats why I call it the Labor Day CHALLENGE, Allenge, allenge..... (you know like an echo...)  Anywho!  Read the rules carefully as one has slightly changed... Over the past couple of years that I have been organizing this challenge I have really struggled with one thing... (besides exercising every day, keeping a food journal and yada yada yada) I have found that if I deprive myself of all treats I end up having dreams and visions of candy and sugar plums... dipped in chocolate and deep fried whaoo... Dont stop there baby!  While I would like to be at a point with my health goals that treats and junk food dont tempt me, the true habit I would like to form is one of moderation.  One where I can be satisfied, truly satisfied by a little something here and there.  Hence the change... I have changed the point you get for no sweets or junk food to: One point for staying on your plan.  So what is your plan?  Some healthies may shoot for staying below a certain caloric goal, some healthies may choose a food plan that cuts treats out altogether, and some healthies may choose a food plan that allows you to have a taste of the dark side once in a while.  You still have to write these treats down in your food journal and you still need to keep in control when you are enjoying them... If you bake cookies and you decide to allow yourself a cookie, enjoy it! But if you find yourself locked in the pantry licking the last of the cookie dough from the bowl and your realize that none of the dough actually existed long enough to become a cookie... Not only do you need your hands spanked with a spatula and you lose your point too.
