Healthy Habits Challenge Rules:

~1 month
~7 points possible a day
~Keep track of points each day and update them weekly...

Points Possible Each Day
1pt 5 daily servings of veggies or fruit
1pt for staying on your food plan
1pt keep daily food journal
1pt drink 64oz of water
1pt 30 minutes exercise
1pt at least 6 hours of sleep
1pt keeping your individual goal (can be anything you want to make a habit of)

~One free day a week (you cant log more that 42 points a week)

10 bucks gets you into the contest... It all goes into the Jackpot. (please note that there is an additional .69 cent fee that covers the paypal fee)

HallowGiving contest... 2014

Do you hear creepy halloween candy hiss your name from the candy isle at the grocery store?
Do you find yourself staying up too late doing things that dont really matter because you can?  If you need a little motivation and accountability consider this healthy habits challenge... The current contest begins Monday, October the 20th and ends Sunday night... November the 16th.  It ends the week of Thanksgiving.

The day after Labor day challenge!

Tap tap tap... is anyone still here? Who is up for another challenge? How about we call it "the day after Labor day Challenge"? Starts September 2nd. Tell your friends, tell your family, tell the friends of your family, tell the family of your friends... Tell people you wish were your friends, tell people you are glad are not your family... LOL Sept 2nd to Sept 30th!  To join go to the paypal link at the bottom and send me your entrance fee.  Make sure you include an email I can contact you through just incase you dont check the one connected to your paypal account very often. 

A few points about me and this challenge



  • I didn't invent this challenge... I used ideas from other people.  I have fine tuned the habits to be incorporated into any fitness level and phase of life... college students, pregnant women, working women, body builders, stay at home moms, grandmas... The level you take things to is up to you.
  • Every one of these habits is tried and true.  Nothing weird, hokey or controversial.  They are consistent with current understandings of body science.  
  • I have been moderating this challenge for over 4 years and have won it 3 times.  
  • I dont take a fee for moderating this contest.  The only fee payed to anyone is minimal and goes to paypal combined with the entrance fee for making it easy to collect and transfer funds.
  • I moderate this challenge for motivation and accountability.  I believe keeping a 'tool bag' of motivators to help me achieve and maintain my fitness goals.  My genetics put me in a high risk category for heart disease... after losing a beloved brother at 44 and never knowing a set of grandparents, because they both died of heart attacks in their 50's I am offensively fighting heart disease with these habits.  My children share my genetics and my risks and they learn lifestyle habits from me.  
  • A jewel I have found through moderating this contest is when others are successful in reclaiming their health.  It strokes the feel goods in my heart to know that I had something to do with helping someone else raise their sword and yell CHARGE in the fight against diseases related to lifestyle (which are many). 
I moderate this contest for the goodness of my heart.  No one makes a dime except for the winners!  I like it this way.  I plan to keep it this way.  You have nothing to lose and much to gain.
